Can you tell us a bit about your background and your journey to your current role at Universal Tankers?

Before joining Universal, I didn't have any experience in the waste management industry. However, thanks to the great team here, I picked things up quickly and developed a strong understanding of the sector.

I come from a strong sales background, having worked across a range of different industries, which has given me extensive experience in sales, lead generation and building customer relationships.

What do you enjoy most about working at Universal Tankers, and what keeps you motivated?

The trust I feel from my colleagues and the ambitions we have as a business to expand and offer our customers the best, most reliable service in the industry.

What I enjoy most is the sense of trust, achievement and progress at the end of each day.

I've been fortunate to be trusted with leading a number of sales and marketing initiatives. One that stands out is the implementation of a new CRM system. The new system has helped us improve the experience we provide to our customers while also making many of our internal processes more efficient and streamlined.

Personally, I oversee most of our inbound and outbound sales activities, marketing campaigns, social media and review platforms. Over the past 12 months, our sales function has developed significantly, and it's been rewarding to play a part in that growth.

I'm passionate about continuing to build on that success and finding new ways to improve and strengthen what we do.
